Rejection
Neither punishment,
Nor Humiliation,
Describe the word rejection.
As rejection is more than that.
A way of pushing one,
Pushing one to greatness.
Encouraging one to better their ways.
To fix small mistakes.
And to strive for perfection.
Which will always seem out of reach.
Rejection is needed.
It teaches people.
Teaches them that you must work hard.
And try.
You got rejected?
Well now you know.
You know what mistakes,
To fix for the next time you try.
Not all things that seem bad,
Are actually bad.
One must look deeper,
Deeper than the plain eye can see,
And find the true meaning.
For rejection,
Is good for the soul,
And good for the being.
