Wondrous Being

How wondrous You are, in Your ways so divine,
Your grace and mercy, like the sweetest wine.
Let not Your mind from me ever turn,
For Your tender love, daily I yearn.

Let not my words fall in shame or despair,
Look unto You for guidance, in Your loving care.
You’ve set me upon a foundation so strong,
Yet my feet may slip, in this world of wrong.

I ask for Your help, in these challenging days,
May my guardian help from straying from His ways.
Always consider Your servant, in thought and word,
That to You are brought, may they be heard.

I hope for Your precedence, to the world be shown,
Your love and diligence, like seeds to be sown.
Protect others with Your might, in their hour of need,
Guide them with Your light, in their deeds and creed.

In Your affection and tenderness, we find our shield,
In the face of darkness, to You, we yield.
Your protection we seek, in this world so vast,
In Your presence, we will never be an outcast.

Your power is a fortress, strong and true,
Your graciousness is a river of the purest hue.
To safeguard others, is our earnest plea,
In Your delight and forbearance, we wish to be.

Your reassurance is a beacon, in the darkest night,
Your magnanimity a song, in the morning light.
Be with those who have a heartfelt prayer,
In Your endearment and thoughtfulness, we find solace there.

Being true to Your promises, You shall forever will keep,
Your fondness is a journey, profound and deep.
To shield those who love you, is Your solemn vow,
In our love towards You, we humbly bow.

Your tenderness is a melody, sweet and clear,
Your patience is a vision, bringing us near.
To guide all, is be Your noble quest,
In all hope and supplications, we find our rest.

How wondrous You are, in Your ways so grand,
Your caring strength covers the land.
In shielding others, in Your name we strive,
With all of this, we truly always thrive.
