LASERLIGHT (with Ndina Kamaro Moufhe)

All dearest friends

Down in the dawn of the night
Where my heart lies
and my patience fades
And letting-go upgrades
My faith absorbed by the dark
my eyes and soul searching for a way out in this black partition
I wandered alone in the jungle
seeking for such a treasure
A treasure worthy to find in this life
That had given birth to many Judas Escariots
One star came through
and sparkled brightness
When I was down to drown
And with the chandelier
wrapped around my emotions
Calling death in actions
It whispered sound to my ears
“You are still alive”
And then my heart started beating
And my lungs started breathing
A shoulder for me lean on
A hand that pulls me up
When I’m down drowned
In potholes that came with life itself
Then a big star came
and witness my happiness
Oh! Brother moon!
Where were you all along?
Out, you dragged me up again
Help me to stand on land again
Indeed, you are my pillar
In you, I’m such a believer
That my back is always gotten
I can write many songs about you
When they play, I’ll sing along
To the words which exalts you to higher thrones
And being grateful myself,
For being a luckiest soul alive
To have a twin spiritually
It’s amazing than greatness of angels
It feels like one soul living in two bodies
I wish the world could give birth to many of your kinds
Who will feel the pain others feel
And never cause another being and soul a hurt
By disturbing all their peace
A brother from another mother
You’re like a laserlight
You give energy to the dancefloor
and brightens color of the blinds
You give 4 meanings of life
“It’s gonna be okay.”
A friend for real
When I’m blinded, you become my torch
As you hold my hand leading me home
When we stray, we stray together
But manage to pick each other up when we fall
If I live to tell about us,
I’ll never leave a word in those stories
Oh! I wonder how special I am
To be blessed by your presence in my life
Let not this light you shine fades
Let it shine and expose all my stumblings
Let it brighten more every second
Fade not my guiding light!
