Tis’ the Day

Tis the day we break apart,
Always in my mind and in my heart.
I feel as if being stabbed with a dagger
I feel my heart tremble as I stagger
Never to leave but cannot stay
Not even time can keep the pain away
The poison has tempted
A loving soul tormented
Followed and pursued by the city of love
Wishing to fly away like a frightened Dove
Two families; Rivals
Two hearts fighting for survival
Hatred and love, one in the same
Blood shed, with each other to blame
Here and now laying in my bed
With nothing but a tear to shed
Tis the day we break apart from Verona’s walls,
we DEPART
