It was over
No majestic glow
And in her mind she did not know
Why
She just said the words
They rambled along her lips
She didn’t mean to hurt him
Tears streamed down her cheeks
Everything was out of place
She couldn’t look love in the face

But she didn’t want to cry
She felt as if
