Serenity within Chaos
The calm after the storm brings an eerie sense to the surface
The air that moved with such power is now deathly still
No more flashes to light up the sky
For it’s not a shade of light or dark, but gray
In the distance thunder can still be heard
But in between sounds the silence rules all
All is calm..........
Alas I’m wrong
With two swift flashes and a boom to make me look up to the heavens
It isn’t over
Inside I wished for this and now it’s been granted
The cool air is moving once more
Although the sky has not started to fall again, it’s essence is still felt
I can’t help but smile
For how such a feeling of chaos can feel so serene
I hope it’ll last
