Fire Haiku plus 7-7

October Red Winds

Santa Ana winds
Seasonal metamorphosed
To fire explosions

Hopscotching smoky canyons
Now landscape lay scorched dead bare

Ready on cue to evacuate when the brush fire escalates near where we live. One more October twist in already twisted year 2020. Perplexed.

Glad I was able to save this picture. It was a fast moving wind. :—))

I guess we'll have to keep praying that it won't go up in smoke.

There’s miracle in the power of praying, yes.
Strange feeling preparing to evacuate.
Reality suddenly was thrown on your lap. Save your life. Leave everything to burn. Take with you only the bare essentials.
Yes prayers help.
Thanks Robert.
