#Life #Meaning #Nothing
If I was once the tallest mountain your love was the wind that eroded me to nothing
I’ve always been at the very least a little caught up on everything about you This idea of you
I say hello and you say nothing You may hear me you may even think of a response
I see poems that need to be written scrawled in the shape of your smile and the lines of your face
There is poetry in nature better left to be spoken wordlessly by the breeze
Under the weight of life I forget how to breathe and I feel suffocated I hesitantly make peace with the world
I spend my nights wishing on every star in the sky that you are alive and well
I awoke in the dark next to you and more alone than ever I was amazed to hear your heart beating from
You were the wind beneath my wings but I was Icarus so all I did
Just when I get back on my feet you pass on by and I lose my footing Again
Autumn sneaks in preceding dormancy Leaves take on new beauty with nothing left in them but a fa… Individually insignificant
Passion doesn’t arise from 12 point Times New Roman but rather from ink on one page and another
I write sharp words with a sharper knife on page after page of what might as well be the skin of my back
Everyday brings a new death in three words give or take Some days I drown
I hope this is postmarked before my death certificate is dat… but you’ll know why if it is or if it isn’t If you get this in time
