Falling

10/11/2017

There’s no point falling in love when love just doesn’t exist.
There’s no point falling in love when no one will ever love you.
There’s no point falling in love when they’re just going to leave.
There’s no point falling in love when they just wanted you for what you can do in bed.
There’s no point falling in love just to become someone else’s punching bag.
There’s no point falling in love when he’s just going to yell at you because nothing you do is ever right.
It never ends. These cycles. And these cycles turn into constant fears. These fears become loneliness. The loneliness becomes empty bottles of gin and another cigarette. This is why you must always love yourself first. Loving yourself first, top priority, unconditionally, the most, more than anyone ever could. If you have to fall in love, fall in love with yourself over and over again because no one will truly love you the way you can love yourself.

Because there’s no point falling for him when he’ll never love you.
There’s no point in loving anyone when no one will love you.
