The wager

The wager

I don’t need to see you
To gain my faith

I don’t need to feel you
To sense your grace

I feel you through every word I speak
Your aura touches every mountain peak

In the rise and fall of dusk and  dawn
In the scattered clouds ur image is drawn

I believe In your existence
With no hesitation
And Not out of  fear of fire or heavens temptation

I believe out of humble piety
And I don’t question ur judgement my deity

I believe
that you have a reason to why the starving are gluttonous for survival
And  to why the gluttonous starve for
Revival

I’m certain that u have a sense to those tyrants that rape Justice
And to the justice when it rapes the case
Or to when men lose reason to fight over imaginary lines and race

You sure have an account to why the young have to depart sometimes early
And to why the children ache unfairly

Yes, there should be a purpose behind Mother Nature’s rage
And to when some from faith disengage

Though, my faith I  dont question.
I lay my wellbeing beyond deception

I close my eyes and drown in the solitude of my blind faith
I see your fainting light which I embrace

Amid The darkness of my ignorance
I wager
Cause you are my hope and sole saver

I wager with no restrictions
Ruling out any conviction

I wager on you existence
I wager with no persistence

For if I lost, I’ll be far long gone to
Pay the price
And if I win
In the eternal life, I’ll win it all
