wet squirrel

the self sabotaging squirrel
planting trees with in trees
destroying his own dwelling
or constructing his future
weakening the trees bring bugs
protein of a new kind
drinking from flowing fountains
running down the bark  brook
from small lakes caught the crook
satisfying the drying tongue
looking at you not giving seed
such a painting a small one can paint
while jumping from tree to tree
freeing the drops from the hair
the tree held captive for awhile
only to win it in the end
the gray flying through the air
can bring it back again
