Escape To NeverLand
I’m back to the place where it all begins,
as time progresses on.
Each lasting memory holding still,
those least, forever strong,
As I lay down, I start to go,
then so do all my thoughts.
I close my eyes and take a breath,
cause now, this moments lost,
Then in a flash, I fall in time,
as mind brings up it’s deep.
A second flash, and then no sound,
the proof, I’m now asleep,
While here, I’m gone in distant past,
to a time, where I once appeared.
This distant place I’ve come to find,
brings hope, when none is near,
I start to fly, my focus clears,
As glimpse of different scenes go past.
Then I escape to stars beyond,
in hopes, that it will last,
Though sound asleep in a world of dreams,
I know, I cannot stay.
Cause just as fast as I appeared,
This night, will turn to day.
