If Only

If only I could make right my past,
those things I’d change, and do it fast,
are big mistake I made in life,
that took my youth, and you alike,
that now are lost in space and time.

Then how could I come bring to light,
or blame those things I did in life,
when God so suddenly threw me the clue,
those things of past, brought me to you.

These moments upon us, so beautiful as they are,
will carry. But once they’re gone, it’s ugly.

If only in a perfect world begot,
a place where you and I be caught,
where we could go and choose a life,
to go and live, and dream alike.
A place of grass and trees so green,
where birds sing songs, and we make dreams.

Then how could this be right or fair,
if cosmic schemes of things are there,
then how if we the ones to choose,
would life reject, so we would lose?

These moments upon us, so beautiful as they are,
will carry. But once they’re gone, it’s ugly
