In God’s Eyes
The struggle comes only in glances,
as in time, a life runs it’s distance,
All is quiet, a baby slips into a darkness of no existence,
so, I slipped away too.
They, our little angel falls, so a mother cries,
no more the day there was, a you.
As I go, it comes, but so do you, and from where it came,
there I go, and so will you.
At times, life can be so beautiful,
so, when you stopped, something beautiful did too.
I guess some things were never meant to be, but you,
you are in God’s eyes, He placed eternity in our hearts,
So you, you’ll come too!
