Instead of Indignation Embrace Cannabis
What an indignation to place restrictions
On the many benefits and uses of nature
To deny the values of a wonderous plant
Is an illogical daft act of dictatorial whim
Which causes pain and much sufferings
To denounce a herb of therapeutic grace
Is an act of hating that is sadly mistaken
To persecute the sick is state terrorisms
To batter in doors coz of the law is shitty
It is pretty petty to arrest folk for smoking
A man’s lungs are his to do as he pleases
It is not a crime to inhale medicinal fumes
A personal act causing no harm to others
Should not be deemed as a wrongful deed
What an imposition to stop and search us
When our society is based upon freedoms
Yet the police act like tyrants with regards
To a harmless healing herb of free thought
A sniff of cannabis makes old Bill go insane
Arresting cannabis users is a higher priority
Than arresting pedophiles, muggers of thief
Violent crime ignored while herb’s punished
What an indignation and justice miscarriage
To incriminate folks for them bein’ herbilists
For daring to use herb in a peaceful manner
Cannabis is not a threat to national security
Nor violent danger to members of the pubic
What an indignation against a healing plant
It’s time for us to embrace sacred cannabis
Time to bin this unnatural weed hating edict
