Upstandin’ Folk Demand t’ Freely Medicate
We are upstanding and law abiding people
We have good morals and good character
We don’t lie or cheat, steal, rape or murder
We are not violent thugs nor angry vandals
We are not wrong doers nor trouble causer
We are innocent of any alleged criminality
We respect the law but not cannabis laws
We view this law as a morally bankrupt law
We cannot respect legislation of sufferings
An edict that lets people die unnecessarily
An unjust order allows discomfort and pain
A ruling cruel in principle and its application
A statute short in wisdom and compassion
A cruel rule that ignores childrens seizures
Casts aside spasms, twitches and pain jab
We wholeheartedly denouce cannabis laws
With God as our witness we abhor this ban
The cannabis ban that’s caused such pains
Unjust illogical antiquatated law of tyranny!
A dirty stain upon the governments of Earth
They’ve peed in the milk of human kindness
Defamed miracle plants of therapeutic uses
They abused their power going against God
They do not have the authority to ban nature
They created an unjust illogical illegal fiction
But mankind has seen thru the cruel charade
We’ve had enough and all feel quite outraged
We the people demand an end to a cruel law
For poorly peeps to medicate freely in grace
And for cannabis to benefit sick folk of Earth
