Inspiration
Inspiration is not an obedient dog
that comes whenever it is called
or patiently waits around
to be shown some attention.
Inspiration is closer to a bird
that takes wing whenever it chooses
leaving behind no evidence
that it had ever been present.
Inspiration can be captured
but only by those
who are prepared
and daring enough to do so.
