Man

God's blunder

God was the one who created man,
filled the human corpse with benevolence.
His abode was where, it all began,
didn’t he expect to witness violence.

'Ah’,as a jovial artist, he cried,
thought, it would be the one that would please.
As concluded the job, he sighed,
man, turned out to be a tease.

Never did he inject a drop of envy,
always preached to be humble.
The values, as evergreen as Ivy,
somehow, man made them tumble.

How it went wrong?God wondered,
the creation he wished to flaunt.
In thoughtful walks, he pondered,
how would it someday, try to haunt.

For man’s cruel and errant deeds,
god is not the one to blame.
It’s the fuel of selfish greeds,
which ignited the wild flame.
