We do not see with our eyes
We see with our brains
We see with our minds
Our eyes are what we see through
Portals to the external world
Yet they have traces of our soul
They lead to our soul
Our inner darkness
There is a barrier though
Everything is inside
Our eyes help us see what’s outside
So your eyes will never see
What’s inside me
When I die
I’ll lend my eyes out to you
You won’t see what I see
But the eyes will have seen so much
Subconsciously traces of me
Will be in you
Use them as a looking glass
Nothing more
Don’t think of what I saw
Create a new world for yourself
And never wonder
Where they came from
They are yours to keep now
