Office at Night, by Edward Hopper
Clementine

Subsequent

Subsequent. For something that comes after something else in time or order
Does everything have to be in order if time really isn't?

I honestly don't know where this word came from - isn't the subconscious mind insane

Nothing is real so we are free,
from this subsequent society.
Eroding rocks,
and nothing is free.
But nature moves with you and me.

Bound by our minds,
from our will to be free -
from this subsequent society.
We are who we are meant to be.

So sell our souls to the waking world,
& now they get our dreams for free.
What a subsequent society.
