Life's Perscriptions
Water is the most important
You need an injection to prevent little bugs to penetrate your defenses,
A healthy relationship with your peers & family,
Maintaining a suitable diet
Knowing that whatever choices you make determines your lifespan
Maybe enough to become centenarians.
Getting x-rayed to become radioactive vulnerable and susceptible to cancer
As our bones become the 2-0-6
The fact that we will continue to grow and mature will never change
As all us, adolescence undergo puberty
I may not be a doctor
Or have a license to practice medicine
But I do earn an degree for all the hard work I’ve done so far
To present you this poem & provide the prescriptions of motivation and
A self-reflection to hopefully change a way to become a healthier person.
