Inbetween Dreams

Strange to think that the days have come,
When in dreams a new reality gleams.
That in the hours awake a dream it makes,
In which of these places do I see real faces?

Where is the space in which I belong?
Which is the place of the real song?
Where do I go when in between dreams?
What is real when you lie across seams?

This state of this debate is difficult to relate,
This way of things just confusion brings.
No direction found and everything is bound,
In a circle round where nothing is sound.

Which way is right, and why the fight?
I can’t understand and don’t know the command.
What will bring the reason, who’s is the treason?
When can it be told this story of old?

In between dreams in this strange place,
The mind does not know which way to go.
But something is said to repel the dread,
And peace of sorts provides a cavort.

A mind dance comes forth and foresees rebirth,
Then acts a retort and it does not abort!
For a moment it seemed a release from this scheme,
But bound I’m to stay inside this array.

So in between dreams, and dreams they do seem,
Because of two faces and multiple places,
Astride the line that does not define,
Which side is right and where is the light?

Dreams can be confusing and seem unreal, but many are seeded by true events
