Like Tears in Rain

All my sorrows may disappear
All my woes may leave me
All my fears might go away
But to return another day
 
Will my sadness be lost in time?
Are my shadows dark in sunshine?
Will they hide out on the plane?
Or be concealed like tears in rain?
 
Will they blend into the night?
Or hide in clouds, out of sight
That drift across mountains high
Seen only in the lightning strike
 
This sorrow though is here to stay
It can only ever be kept at bay
Running, as our blood in veins
Obscured from sight, like tears in rain...
