A Prayer For Peace

Dear Almighty One.  You, the author of the Qur’an and the Bible, and many other great books, help us live up to your expectations; that we may strive to become more like you each and every day, and that we follow your laws as mandated in the Five Pillars and Ten Commandments. You tell us that if we prejudge other beliefs, we will not be in compliance to your laws.  Every religion lists love in its sovereignty as the force that eradicates all prejudices.  If it reaches deep enough in our hearts, we will be influenced by its power; therefore, any deviation from your laws will be prudentially rejected by us. Leaders will also have those feelings in their hearts. Then love and peace will be the common goal to be sought by everyone.  Amen.
