Fire Song
Torches burning through the melodic night
parting the heavy air with all their might
yellow flames dancing as in a spirited sunrise
dressing up the night with an effevescent guise
bringing heat to the solemn corridors
finding its way through the narrow pores
down into the heart and slumbering limbs
a fanfare to the spirit as the music begins
a fire to burn away the catacombs of the dead
and from their resurrection they climb up ahead
they shall dance with the fire in their heated loins
through the night 'til when the morning joins
fire song blazing oh beautiful blaze
melody stuffed with heat and indomitable craze
to the highest peak thou shalt soar
and to the deepest jungles to open the door
and to the wilds they reach their fate
with a fire song for them to captivate
