Inferno Forest

Human nature and Mother nature,
side by side with two minds and souls,
the good and the evil in a heated battle,
tries to win over in total domination
with pleasure as the diabolic lure
and divinity as the feeble underdog,

Forests, the playground of the beast,
built up with fertile vegetation in mind,
rises up from nature’s constructive mind,
spreading greenery out as a vibrant tablecloth
with fruited trees reaching up to heaven,
cutting through halos and clouds,
basking in the divine nature of the sun
and availing itself for the needs of man
in obedience to the mandates of the divine,

then ravaging them with inferno fires
like a child destroying his own sandcastle,
running with the good and evil in his mind,
letting the devil in to control his actions,
having fun with the consequences,
unaware of the misery inflicted,
an innocent caper turned into a major catastrophe,
a running with no foresight in mind.

Interno fires are born out of the
wildness of the sun
from its careless maintenance of the forest,
its evil side influencing its actions,
the child in it being devilish and imprudent,
its nature too much like human nature,
its drying out the succulent vegetation
and turning it into kindling for the heat of the sun
like children building sandcastles
then destroy them with laughter.

Mother Nature is a child with a supreme power,
of goodness, love, and evil unsurpassed.

I wrote this about all the recent forest fires.
