Love’s Religion
Love’s religion is of the highest order with no labels attached; no isms, no envy, and no intelligence that interferes with that deep feeling rooted from a love of all things, a cleaving to the Holy Spirit within us and a voluntary devotion to keep it flowing. Man-made religion is an invention of disciplines, a reprimand for bad behavior and a guideline to stay on the path to its own apotheosis with a fear of straying from it.
Love in the highest order has no fear. It is the consecration of all religions. It is a mingling with the power of the Holy Spirit, the inner feeling in us all that takes us to that apotheosis with no fear of straying from it. It is an exhilarating ride. Since it is so deeply rooted in us, it makes us feel wholesome and joyful, devoid of any man-made religion that recruits us to become members of it and follow their own guidelines to reach their man-made apotheosis of love which we already have within us.
It makes us soldiers of its faith, enemies of other religions’ faith, a hatred within us that keeps us from attaining a whole-hearted love. Hail to the man with no religion; with just a true feeling of love within him.
I had to get this off of my chest. Although I'm a Methodist, I don't feel like a Methodist. I just love God.
