Perfume

Perfume

When she passed by, the scent was heaven
Moving in the air and running through the glen
A summer’s wind climbed through the vines
Drenched in heavenly brews and tasty wines

The romantic that I am, came to be smitten
A love story of my life about to be written
Love’s aroma has beckoned me to follow
To the ends of the earth, my secret hollow

She is a poetic dream dressed in red roses
Of love coming down in heavenly doses
A potpourri of her and love bound potions
And me swimming in perfumed oceans

I will arise with her lying down at my side
My dream to make her my beautiful bride
My dying wish is to keep that scent forever
To linger through my years
And all what lies beyond
