Step One

“Technology, you little baby,
you, the inferior one who
looks up to me, your superior,
the one who knows your secrets,
who can out smart everything you do,
growing wiser with age on my side,
was born before you were
a twinkle in your father’s eye.
Your first step that you
think is so menacing,
up too high to climb onto,
is nothing for me with my long legs
and my superior intelligence
that will carry me
through every challenge
on the road to enlightenment,
where I shall become your
mountain of intelligence,
your hill to climb.

I am the bomb, the man that
knows your every secret.
I am the epitome of intelligence,
counselor of professors, geniuses,
gurus, generals, sages, and Gods.
If you think you can out smart me,
you’re in for a rude awakening.

I know I can master the technology
of my new smart phone.
I even know it all before
taking the first step.
How do I turn it on
so I can make a phone call?

I did buy a smart phone yesterday and don't even know how to make a phone call on it.
