The Joke’s on Rip

Rip Van Winkle after his 20 year sleep,
wakes up in February to go out for a walk.
He dons his winter coat and winter gloves
and goes outside to play in the snow.

“It sure is warm today. No snow. Where am I?
Did I sleep walk all the way down south?
I’m a hiker but not a sleeper hiker maniac.
Did July and February get mixed up somehow,
or maybe the sun just dropped down?”
Poor Rip and his conundrum. The joke is on him.
