The Void

A place where self-esteem belongs,
Where the idleness created a void,
Where it settled in and took root,
Where it replaced the feeling of worthiness,
While worthiness is a prerequisite of love,
And love is merited through its charity,
And charity is an exaltation of the heart,
And the heart becomes filled with joy,
And the joy spreads through one another,
Into the lovers of life with their fraternal labor,
Where the toilers in the fields bond together,
And the idlers see the love being shared,
While the loneliness creates a feeling of envy,
Where the joy of labor is sought by all
Who wish to inherit that same feeling,
Caused by love being honored through labor.
“Come and toil in the fields with us,
Dear lonely one.”
