Beauty, and so Much More

Beauty sits on my lap, a warm fuzzy bundle.
Beauty stares up at me with soft gentle brown eyes.
Beauty sits on my lap like a long lost friend.
My companion for life, my best friend, Beauty is that
And oh so much more.

There is nothing so wonderful as spending a day
With my Beauty.  Nothing so fine in all the world.
Nothing so near or dear as her sweet companionship
Throughout the sorry wonderful world.
And so much more.

In silence she sits.  As always.  Silent
And sure.  Silent to all the pain and suffering
Throughout the world.  My best friend.
And so much more

Beauty sits on my lap, panting and warm.
Beauty’s heat spreads through my lap,
Damp, rich, and warm.
So I slap Beauty on the snout, and put
Her outside for the night.  Beauty means so much,
But she’s not housebroken yet.
