Care Taker
You ever make a huge mistake with that special someone and when you try to fix its to late because they have found somebody else.
I really stepped in it this time
But this time there is no going back
The one soul who ever watered me
made sure I received the right amount of sunshine
Each and everyday
Has found a new plant to look after
To take care of
And to love
If only I could have been a stronger plant
Able to keep weeds and insects out the pot
This pot we call life
I would still have my care taker
But I love this care taker
So if this new plant is a better plant
Happy I shall be for you care taker
I just hope my pot doesn’t become engulfed with weeds in the process
