10,000 Times
What would you like to do 10,000 times?
I spent nearly all day thinking.
Should I say, “eat ice cream”?
I mean a little humour always melts the reader.
What about 10,000 days of sleep?
But then again, who am I?
Sleeping beauty?
Maybe music–
I do play a song on loop for several months.
But it didn’t give me a bug like the right answer would.
As the day inched to an end, I realised;
Going out.
It fits more than anything else ever has.
A leisurely drive,
Catching up with a friend,
Watching the sunset by the beach side or buying groceries.
If only this season of compulsive
Confinement would ever.
