Caricamento in corso...

Complete

She howls like a Banshee, and fights like a Tiger,

But nothing can replace the lack of love from her father.

She came home daily with a tear in her eye, just as dad sat down with more beers for the night,

She shot to her, room and wanted to cry, but held it all in, held it all in inside.

She’s shaking and clamping her fists all up tight, the anger is swelling and burning inside.

Her demons are rising, but where is her fight?

She howls like a mouse, and fights like one too.

The nightmare is real, but what can she do?

He’s too strong to fight, and mummy is gone.
How do people, say there’s no place like home?

She creeps up the stairs and clutches it tight,

Just whimpering quietly as gives up the fight,

She glides to her room, and bolts the door tight.

She no longer howls, and no longer fights,

Her eyes are dry and her hands wrapped tight,

Lips curled up in a dreadful smile, she wants not more than to rest for a while,

She jerks and she feels the edge of release,

She knows that its done, she feels her wrists weep,

The pain is over and she is complete.
