Monuments of polished stone
makes them feel they’re not alone
Seeing names who’ve gone befores’
flight away from Earth’s dark shores
Safety there up in the sky
and yet, to never say goodbye
Names and legacies left here
always will we hold them dear
Those who step into the place
of those who died - our saving grace
will try their best to saviors be
They keep us safe - both you and me
And as for those who for us die
the Old Ones wait up in the skies
looking down on polished stone
Soldiers, know you’re not alone
