Sadness
Sadness has a thousand shades,
Happiness has ten,
Sometimes I feel all the sad ones,
From low to medium and
Back to myself again.
Sadness, we all feel,
From time to time...
Moments of terror & doubt seem so real;
Sadness is a sour fruit,
Like lemons—our true pain,
Yet we cannot fully taste
The fruits of our joy,
The sweetness of cherries or pears
Without first being laden with worry & cares.
