Life is not fair
it will tear you apart every chance it gets
shredding pieces of your sanity
destroying the You that has been built
Life will continue to exist, but it is us who will be killed
Life is the most consistent inconsistency
breaking down your soul,
every-time we reach out for more
desperately gripping the rope of Life
even if it means it causes us strife
if Life was more transparent
then we could separate the Faux from reality
Life gave some of us Emily
but we couldn’t see deeper, Radiology
so, we cling to Life with Disgust on our faces
so, to Life
here is that clarity that is needed
do not disguise, it is not required
Life is not where we lie
Life is not what was written above
in all honesty
