love is unbelievably mean
Time after time it will break you
rewarding you scars that are left unseen
Only if that would stop you
but still you chase after something so painful
Regression—a skill used by children
something that you’ve learned like a fool
Intelligent or not it was a choice done by you
love is unbelievably forbidding
Wanting something that you could never grasp
in this cruel game, there is no winning
Anyone can try, but none would last
yet you continue to struggle through
Dying on the inside, whilst attentively listening
to her words of grandeur and grace
Even though it takes everything to just keep face
love is unbelievably tricky
the more you try to swoon love
it becomes even more picky
leaving you distraught
wishing more and more, that it wouldn’t be indecisive
