Its been so long hasn’t it?
To think that we once thought of the future
Where life was like France
La Vie En Rose
Constantly sang across our minds
Its been awhile hasn’t it?
The chains of our lock has rusted down...
Upon that bridge where we once vowed
To forever connect our souls
My heart you took
Yours I simply borrowed
Its hasn’t been that long right?
We’ve both moved unto bigger and better things
Whilst I joined the fight
You finally made it to Uni
Constantly achieving your dreams
And I... I guess I’m losing
Its been just too long hasn’t it?
Our words used to entwine us
Holding us together past the distance of our pages
But a book simply has to end
The debate of us being broken
