Light, lights, life
I want to see the lights shine bright in my life.
I want to see the city lights that turn a rural girl into a pimpin’ mistress.
The lights that shine on the one who grew under them with favour,
And misled those who came seeking to be enlightened.
My future is brightened!
Keep me away from blue and white authority lights,
Being love struck by hand cuffs is not my way of life.
Grip me tight for the last time
Before I go into the light.
