Look deeper
I am more than who you see
Out of all the things I am and everything I hope to be, if you look deeper there’s something that I am.
Out of all the money I have and every dime I hope to gain if you look into my pocket there’s a provision for you.
Out of all the things I’ve mended and everything I hope to repair if you look into my hands they are wet with your tears.
Foolishness is upon me and wisdom is in me.
Poverty is upon me and wealth is in me.
I will take off what is on me,
I will give you what is in me if you look deeper.
For above all that I am
And all I hope to be there’s a beautiful man inside.
He is in me, in me.
Look at him.
