This Saga of Heaven and Hell

The Angel Series

This Saga of Heaven and Hell

I am Lucifer
I am, was and ever shall be
The most beautiful angel to ever grace
Heaven
My face was that of which Angels sang
And my God looked upon me
With favor
Walking by His side, I was his confidante
His favored one
Heaven was my rightful home and the throne of God
Was my rightful place
But He, my God, in all his wisdom
Chose to create a Son
In his likeness, but born of a woman
Of a Woman!!
That vessel of mortal men
Good for nothing but to breed, to suckle
To propagate
And this Son, He chose to rule
Beside Him on his throne
Placed above me
At the right hand of God
Alas!
The place where I had once occupied
Was now
Lost to me, the most beautiful of God’s creatures
Oh, how I railed against Him
Against His choice
Against his decision, I rallied those loyal to me
And we raised our voices
In protest
Crying out that I, Lucifer, belonged
On the throne of God!
Not this usurper Jesus,
Son of a mortal
Woman
This virgin Mary!
But I, Lucifer
Should rule with my God!
But this God, whom I had worshipped
Above all others
Turned his back on me, his chosen,
Sending the great
Archangel Michael and his legions
To cast me and mine
From the gates of Heaven
Forever
Barring the way of our return
And creating this
Hell
Into which I have come to reign
For indeed
To have once been the favored of God
To have been graced
With his love and light
And then to be
Cast from His presence
Indeed this was Hell
But I Lucifer
Sit on the throne at last!
Forever lost
Is heaven and my God
But I rule
In darkness instead of in Light
But still I rule
In all my magnificence and glory
Still I rule

This Saga of Heaven and Hell cont.

My name is Michael
I am the Archangel of God, the mighty
Warrior of Heaven
Destined to live for eternity
To live with my God
My actions
My choices
And yes,
To live with my memories
An eternity of memories
Utmost of those
Are the eyes of my brother Lucifer
As I cast him
From his home and these Heavens
The look of betrayal,
Of sadness and despair
But most of all
I will remember the look of love
For yes we did love
One another
As do we all, these legions of creatures
Created by God
To do his bidding
We are not mortal, and we are no longer
God’s chosen ones
But we have emotions and feelings
We love, we live
And yes, we regret
If not our actions
Then certainly the necessity
Of those actions
I follow my God and do as he requests
Not blindly
As Lucifer believes I do
But without question, without
Hesitation
If sometimes I remember my brother
Lucifer
And wonder if he regrets his choices
In his rebellion
If I remember with pain
The order to cast him out
And I do, every day of my life
I never doubt my actions in doing so
I am an Angel of God
My choices
Were made long ago
My allegiance unfaltering
My faith unwavering
But I do wonder
Of Lucifer
And his pain and anguish
At no longer
Being in God’s graces
His punishment was swift and final
Surely he knew
That my God is a wrathful God
A jealous God
He would allow no question
No rebellion
Surely he knew
As I do
That Hell is no place, no cavern
With pits of fire
Where souls burn for eternity
No, Hell is a place of darkness
Where God’s gaze never reaches
Where his forgiveness
Is withheld
Surely my brother Lucifer now knows
Hell is without a doubt
Being out
Of God’s favor
For eternity

This Saga of Heaven and Hell Part 3

I am Sammael
They call me the angel of death
A ridiculous concept
As death needs no
Harbinger
It comes to all in time
And my only duty
Is to harvest the souls as they
Become available
Am I good, you ask
Or am I evil
Do I work for the sake of Heaven
Or Hell
Why must it always be
One or the other
Life (and death) was not always
So complicated
We spirits have always occupied
This place
Between heaven and hell
This place you call
Earth
We have always done what
We do now
Evil or good plays little part in what we do
We are…
We do…
It is now as it has ever been
A matter of
Duty
We do what we were created to do
How can this be evil
Or good
It just is what we are
I serve God
As I serve Lucifer
As I serve you, mankind
Do I care about you?
Or them?
Not at all, my feelings have
Nothing to do with
My duty
If they did, I would have
Left you all to wander
After death
Searching for solace or a place
To rest
Because in truth
I don’t believe any of you are worth
My time
Or the space you occupy
In eternity

My name is Sue
I am no angel in any sense
Of the word
I wrote this angel series

Dealing with a war
Between the angels
Of Heaven
Over God’s preference for humans
And it made me
Start thinking about angels
