The Dragons Within
There are Dragons within me.
I feel the fluttering of their wings in my fears;
I feel the heat of their breath in my longings.
But Dragon fire burns within my soul,
And I call upon the Dragons to
Tame the fears and satisfy the longings.
The Dragons are my strength, not my weakness.
Armor is merely a shell of insecurity
For the Knight who would seek to rescue me.
I seek not a Dragon slayer, but
One who strongly embraces
A Dragon’s mistress; sharing the fire of passion.
