Pain and suffering
The pain and suffering of my past has takin it’s toll.
Now it’s time for me to reclaim my soul.
As I lay in bed and close my eyes I dream of the bad memories of my past.
And as I sleep I hope that the bad memories won’t last.
When I wake up and open my eyes I think of how my day’s gonna be.
I think of how everyone will treat me.
As I get dressed and leave the house I see how other peoples lives are.
When I think about their lives I sit down and have a drink at the bar.
While I sit and have a drink I think that my life was never that bad.
When I think about that it makes me sad.
It makes me sad cause all I ever did was think about myself.
I use to never think of anyone else.
After I left the bar I picked a kid up that fell.
I asked the kid how he was and he said thanks and that he felt well.
As I walk away I heard people say GOD BLESS YOUR SOUL.
