Keep the written word alive.
If i went without words
I would lack a soul
for my soul exists in words
in prose of old
i express the hidden
the untold
I have picked up the pen
and i have found my long forgotten love
to connect with the world
in prose of old.
Words express everything
from the obvious to the hidden
buried within a human soul
there is no better transition from thought
to reality
than the written word
and it is an art that is dying
a sadder story never told
Without words this world would crumble
history would be lost to time
so would the greatest love story ever told.
We must not forget, that the written word is the greatest
communicator, that it can create war, peace, and bring to life
history of old.
Without words......what would we be
but animals, fighting to communicate.
Without words we wouldn’t be.
Without words we would simply pass into history
our memory a speck of sand on distant shore.
