A Simple Life

Some things in life are so simple, while some things are so complicated. You see while life can be simple it wouldn’t be much of a test or adventure without the complications. The complicated things in life are what us know how strong we are, how good at problem solving. Everyone wishes for a simple life but is that what we really need, a simple life? You learn so much about yourself with lives curve balls and tests. As a curious people we learn new ways to solve new problems or the ones still starring us in the face, like a deer caught in headlights. All to often we wish for a simple life, but know we need the complicated life to learn and grow. Sure parents and other authoritative figures teach us s0 much, but they can never teach us what we have to learn on our own. Lives test, trials and complications teach us more about ourselves than any textbook or teacher ever can. Life isn’t just about learning what makes the sky blue or the ocean salty. It’s also about learning about yourself. How strong you are, how smart, how ingenuitive. But most importantly how compassionate you are. Life without compassion is nothing, but learning to be a kind caring person is one of the hardest things we must do.
