Bring forth to me, mental clarity, in a soft spoken lullaby
Comfort in the way you sing your tune, eases the mind
When a day becomes a short eternity of which I’ve lived
When the world seems so much smaller, than what it truly is
I seek guidance without judgement, of which, I can’t seem to find
A place of peace and wonder, without the emphasis of time
Water never tastes quite as wonderful until you’ve been
without it for awhile, and it’s something that you miss
And ever will I miss it, for life just is not the same
without the sweet tune of your voice, on a day that it has rained
