I tried, each night I’ve cried,
When you said we done,
Something within me instantly died,
Every moment with you used to be so much fun,
The smiles and laughters we shared,
I genuinely thought you cared,
I believed you loved me,
That’s the only reason I took that chance and we came to be,
But I guess I wasn’t good enough,
I’ve tried to keep myself together,
I’ve tried to understand this situation,
Then I remember your words,
It pierces through my heart,
There’s never a forever,
Love always has some sort of complication,
All this really hurts,
I wish we could just go back to the start,
My hearts been through many wars, but never has it wounded or scared as much as this,
Yes,
I’m broken,
Shattered in pieces,
I’ve been left silent,
So many words just left unspoken,
If ever I heal from all this pain,
Loving any other will sure take plenty of time to get my heart to be the same again,
Until then away from the world I shall stay,
I will continue to pray,
Hoping you have a better life filled with love and smiles each & everyday...
