Within the flames
In the fire burning strong
I sit within the flame
No peace of mind to turn to
No thought of what to blame
The silence growing stronger
The stillness speaks so loud
Can’t see yet through the fog
There’s a thickness to the cloud
The rise and fall of breath
Focused energy from within
Space becomes apparent
A calmness now begins
Time becomes no option
Space is all I crave
It’s vastness quiets chatter
It’s wholeness is what saves
I find a peace within the fire
And sit immersed in flames
Accepting all that is and ever was
Yet not believing in the games
Thoughts fade away one by one
Emotions turn to bliss
The fog is lifted and it’s clear
Love engulfs me with its kiss
And there I am and alway was
Where I’m meant to be
The only real existence
